Oxshott Pottery was started in at Oxshott in Surrey by Henry and Denise daughter Rosemary Wren was born there in The pottery remained at Oxshott untilshortly before Denise's death, and then moved to Exeter in Devon under. In the Wrens bought a plot in Potters Croft, Oxshott, Surrey and Denise attended pottery evening classes at Camberwell School of Art under Henry Hopkins.
Later that year she and Henry built a house and set up the Oxshott Pottery installing a gas fired kiln and from Denise Wren's main production was hand-built and thrown. The Oxshott Pottery was set up by Denise and Henry Wren at their home, Potters Croft, in Oxshott, Surrey in The pottery had a reputation as a successful studio pottery, producing brightly glazed earthenware pottery; examples of their work can be found in the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Crafts Study Centre, Farnham, Surrey, and Kingston Museum Art Gallery.

Denise Wren (née Tuckfield; 7 January – ) was an Australian-born British studio potter and craftsperson. Wren was one of the first female studio potters in Britain. She studied and taught with the Kingston School of Art, Knox Guild and Camberwell College of and her family subsequently set up the Oxshott Pottery and wrote on the subjects of ceramics, textiles and :Devon.
She set up a Pottery in Oxshott(now a VERY wealthy commuter village trendy with footballer mansions) in the early 20's,potting there-later with her daughter Rosemary- until Gave summer pottery classes ,wrote a pottery book. Has been more famous in the past and she is well represnted in the V&A collection.
